Southport forwards came back to form on Saturday with four goals against Hull city.
Here is a picture story of the match.
(1) The first goal, scored by Colquhoun, whose shot was deflected into the net by Meens, the Hull centre-half.
(2) Hawkins, following up a loose ball, struck the post as Bly dived to save.
(3) Clough, who made his League debut, shooting for goal before being tackled by Dowen.
(4) Anxious moment for Hawkins, Clough and Patrick as they watch the result of the shot by the first named which scored the second goal.
(5) The shot that “brought the house down”. Patrick scoring the third goal and his century for the club.
(6) Clough’s brilliant header which left Bly helpless.
