We are saddened to learn of the passing of Former Players Association member Denis Miles on Sunday 8th December.
As an outside right Denis played 51 times for Southport between 1955 and 1957, scoring 12 goals.
Denis’ funeral will be held on Christmas Eve at 11am at Pontefract Crematorium, near his hometown of Normanton.
Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
