0 - 0 v Warrington Town (A) 21/04/2025 Paul Carden has been appointed the new manager of Southport Football Club in the wake of Gary Brabin’s decision to leave his post to take up a coaching role within the Everton academy.
Older brother of former Sandgrounder Adam Carden, Paul originally joined the club as Brabin’s assistant manager back in October and has had two previous spells as Caretaker manager of Cambridge United in 2009.
