Barry Hedley

When you look at people who have made a significant off field contribution you must include BARRY HEDLEY Director, groundsman, what hasn’t Barry turned his hand to since his arrival at the club in the early eighties. Barry was appointed as Vice Chairman under Gary Culshaw in 1982. Barry has served the club in a variety of ways over many years. As groundsman his Haig Avenue pitch was regularly praised by Conference Clubs and by Premiership managers when Liverpool Reserves shared the ground. An integral part of Haig Avenue for many years. Barry brought Charlie Clapham to the club back in 1982 and their friendship has remained strong since that day. Barry moved to the sunnier climes of the USA in the late 2000s.
