We are delighted to confirm the signings of Dylan Vassallo and Jack Bainbridge, who both put pen-to-paper to sign ahead of today’s game against Barrow.
Dylan has been outstanding in all the pre-season games so far and rejoins the club having been part of our youth set up in the 2015/16 season. The attacking midfielder has since developed his career with Warrington Town.
Jack played in the pre-season game at Marine on Wednesday, immediately catching the eye of everyone and manager Liam Watson has been quick to snap him up.
Jack, 22, is a Southport lad and spent his early years at the Everton Academy before playing a season at Swansea.
He has since had two campaigns in the Sunderland Under 23 set-up making his first team debut against Morecambe in the EFL Trophy last November.
Both featured in the latest friendly against Barrow on Saturday, Jack playing the full 90 minutes as part of a three-man central defence.
